Preschool Party

The kids had a very fun time at their Halloween Party for Preschool. All of the kids were dressed up so cute. They sang all of their halloween songs and played a frisby toss game for prizes and then we went outside to parade down the sidewalks.

Here are some random pictures of the kids that were taken this past weekend. Notice the one of them having a picnic in the hall, this is one of the times that they will play nice together. In a couple of them Skyler is brushing his hair with the oldest brush that I have, so all of the little balls have fallen off of the brush and therefore it is pretty rough on the head if you're not careful, explaining his facial expressions while brushing his hair. Skyler also loves to play in his sisters high heels, with her purse and a cell phone, let's just say that his daddy is keeping a close eye on this one:) And then on Sunday we went out to Tooele to help my dad get some work done on his shop that he is building. There were some scrapes and bumps & bruises, but all in all, the kids have a very fun time out to Grandpa Randy's.

We love Halloween parties

We hit 2 different parties this weekend. We started at Jimmy & Suzanna's and then headed over to Colby & Amanda's. Both were a lot of fun, and such great costume ideas all around.

Trick-or-Treat Street

On Saturday we took the kids to Trick-or-Treat Street with Lisa and the girls and they had a blast. For those of you who are not familiar with it, they take a section of the Southtowne Expo Center and turn it into a little street with houses and the kids get to dress up in their cosutmes, knock on every door, say "Trick-or-Treat" and get candy. I think we left with enough candy to last us five years. I took some pics, but if you were not lucky enough to see them this weekend on my camera, then you will have to wait until the Halloween pics get posted to see them dressed up, it's pretty funny!

Gardner Village

On Saturday, the kids and I went to Gardner Village to check out the witches. Brandon met up with us later at the petting zoo. For those of you that know what an animal lover Ashtyn is, she was in heaven being able to pet the animals. They had goats, pigs, bunnies, llamas, ponies, sheep, and a donkey. Ashtyn kept trying to climb in with the llamas, she has no fear of animals that's for sure! Skyler wasn't afraid of the animals but he was not about to join his big sis in the pen with the donkey either. Towards the end he was feeling a little more comfortable with the goats and pigs as long as they did not make eye contact.

Pumpkin Creatures

On Sunday, we went to grandma & grandpa's for dinner and pumpkin decorating. This is my kind of decorating. (no gutting & no carving) The kids become very creative.
Skyler, Ashtyn, Kinsley, Cannon, Cooper & Cohen all posing with their pumpkin creatures.
I must say "Cohen & Cooper, you two get the award for most creative"

What's wrong with this picture?

Yes, this car is parked in our neighbors backyard. So, yesterday Brandon & I had been cleaning the house and getting his stuff ready to go on the hunt, when we hear this LOUD crash come from outside, my first thought is, "what are the kids into now" I did not expect to see this in Cory & Heathers backyard.

How this happend, I have no idea. The poor woman was so shakin' up, I felt so bad for her.
And, apparently, this was not considered a major emergency for police. It took them 2 hours to respond, YES 2 HOURS!
Fortunately, the kids (Ashtyn,Skyler&Carter) were done playing outside and had went in to watch a movie about 45 minutes before the excitement.

The Circus

I'm a little late getting this posted, but last Sunday, Brandon and I took Ashtyn to the circus. She appears to be having a blast in the pictures, but what did she say to me that night when I was tucking her into bed, " Mom, let's not go to the circus again because it was too boring." So, at Ashtyn's request, we will not visit the circus again.
