The performance was outside, and can I just say, " Thank you to Mother Nature" the skies were dark almost the whole show but not once did it rain on us.

Ashtyn did amazing! I was not sure how she would do on a big stage with so many watching, because you all know how shy she is (wink,wink) I had two thoughts about it, either she would get up there and put on a show or freak out when she looked at all the people and couldn't see us. Well, I should've known she would put on a show. She came right out on stage for her performance and began waiving at all of us, (I'm pretty sure it wasn't supposed to be part of the show). She was the cutest little dancer up there, and did such a great job!

If you have ever been to a dance recital, you have probably seen a little dancer peeking out from the curtain during another groups dance, well last night, that little dancer was ours. She kept peeking out and waiving at us, I don't know about all the other parents, but she had us all laughing.

Way to go, sweet girl! We love you!

Family Vacation

This last week we went down to San Diego for a much needed vacation. We went with Brandon's sister, her husband and there little ones. We all had such a fun time, going to the parks and the beach. It got hectic at times as you can imagine with 6 kids but we still had lots of fun in the sun! There are lots of pictures to be seen, so enjoy!

On Monday we went to Sea World, the kids had so much fun. The first thing we did was see the dolphin show. The weather was so nice and we were able to keep the kids busy until that afternoon so that we could see Shamu.

Tuesday we headed up to Disneyland. We all had so much fun. It was a very long day and the kids did great, Skyler did fall asleep as we were leaving. Ashtyn picked out the cutest and softest Pluto dog and Skyler wanted his Lightning McQueen.

We went to the San Diego Zoo on Wednesday. This zoo is amazing, we were there all day and did not see everything, it's huge! The day started out good and then some kind of bug got Skyler (you know it's not good when strangers are giving you their package of baby wipes and offering to help bathe your child in the restroom sink) and left him not feeling to well for the rest of the day. I don't know what he had but it wasn't good. As for Ashtyn, our animal lover, she couldn't believe all the animals that the zoo had. She really liked the panda bear and the gorillas.

Thursday we went to the aquarium. The kids were able to watch the sharks eat breakfast. Thursday was a bit more relaxing, after the aquarium we went back to the condo and headed down to the beach for some fun in the sun!

Friday was our last day in San Diego, and we spent it at Legoland. It was so neat, they had rides for the kids and the neatest thing was the mini cities that were built completely out of Lego's. (Britt, I think we could've been rich if we would have kept up with our imagination back in our Lego days) It was amazing, make sure you look closely at the pictures.

What a fun trip! We had a blast hangin' out at the beach and enjoying the great weather.

We're Home!

We have been in California for the past week and had such a good time, but as always, it is so nice to be home. Pictures from our vacation will be coming soon.
