A VeRy HoT DaY!

We went downtown to The Gateway on Sunday with Aunt Brittany and Grammy, the weather was nice and HOT! As you can see, again, Ashtyn LOVED the water fountains. Skyler wasn't too sure about the fountains so after Daddy took him out there for a minute he decided to go shopping with Grammy & Brittany.

This Sign...

Stands in our front yard!
We were presented the Clean & Beautiful Award by West Valley City tonight. This award goes to those that have, well, clean & beautiful yards.
We are very excited.

PaRtY, pArTy, PArTy, pARtY!

On Saturday, we headed over to the Christensen's for the kids' birthday parties. Yes, I said parties! Brandon's sister is amazing. She did one party for all four of their kids, each of the kids having a different theme.
The day started with a game of miniature golf, then on to some refreshing tea at the tea party, and just before dinner they put on a carnival. Dinner was delicious as always, we watched the kids open their gifts, did cake and ice cream and then it was time to settle down. We all got the kids in their jammies and watched a movie outside, popcorn and candy included!
Brooke, you truly are amazing. We had so much fun!

I didn't get any pics of movie night, dang it! Cooper chose Bedtime Stories, very cute movie.

Time To Wake Up!

I had to take these pics
She loves to wake her brother up in the morning and I think he's in a better mood when she does rather than mommy waking him up!

4th of July FuN!

I love the 4th of July! This year was busy. Brandon had to work, so the kids and I waited for him to come home and then we headed out to the parade. I was a little disappointed this year, but the kids had fun and of course, got plenty of candy!

After the parade, we went over to Grandma Iris' house for a 'Surprise' (that's what the kids were told) she had bought them each a cap gun. Grandma has learned that she must get the grandkids all the same thing, even for 'Princess Ashtyn', she doesn't want to be left out. If the boys' get swords, she better get one too, so yes, she also got a gun! We lit up the fire pit and made some yummy Smores! Skyler decided we should probably have a smarshmallow tester, so he would pull a smarshmallow out of the bag and take a little bite out of all of them and then set it on the table to be roasted.

Our final stop was Colby & Amanda's. Lots of swimming, a yummy BBQ, some basketball and what would the 4th of July be without the fireworks show!
