This post took a while, but here it is!
Father's Day weekend, Brandon and I ran in the Wasatch Back RAGNAR Relay. Not familiar with what the Wasatch Back Relay is? Click
here. We had a blast, 188 miles from Logan to Park City, non-stop, running all night long! The whole experience was so hard but so worth it. My last leg was my toughest, 7.9 miles mostly up hill running along the Jordanelle Resovoir, but I had a great support team plus my wonderful parents who drove up to support us. Brandon's last leg and the only one that I was able to see him do was completely down hill, he ran down Guardsman's Pass for 7 miles finishing at the Park City Ski Resort where he handed the bracelet off to our last runner, Deanna, where she took it to the finish line at The Canyons. We ended up finishing in just over 33 hours!
We had an awesome team, my friend Jenn and her sister Cassi flew out from Florida to run, we had Colby and Amanda, Amanda's brother Justin, Jenn's brother in law Aaron, Jenn's mom introduced us to a couple of her co-workers, Jed and Scott that ran and also Scott's wife Deanna and another friend of Scott's, Sandy and then Brandon and myself. The team did such a great job and had a lot of fun doing it.
