This post is a little late but, we got the cast put on. He has to wear it for 4 weeks and it is a full leg cast (minus the foot) this way he can still wear shoes. A little advice for all of you out there, if this happens to you, make sure you ask about a water proof cast. Brandon and I had heard of them but when we went through this last summer we had no idea that it was an option, so this time we decided to ask and we are so glad we did. The water proof cast costs just a little bit more but it is sooooo worth it! We can do the bath thing, go swimming and not have to worry about it.
